Reopening of Town Hall
The offices of the Town Hall will reopen to the population this Monday, July 12, and this, according to the hygiene and physical distancing measures in effect.
Complete closure of a section of Route 105
As part of culvert replacement work, a section of Route 105, will be completely closed to traffic from July 6 to 20.
Unification of borrowing by-laws for the Centre-Village : presentation available
The document that was presented at the June 8 public information meeting on the unification of the borrowing by-laws for the water and sewer system is now available.
Russell Martin baseball field now equipped with a lighting system
The lighting system will allow baseball fans to enjoy more time to play their sport and will give Baseball Chelsea the opportunity to introduce new programs. It will also give more players the opportunity to play baseball and continue to progress in Chelsea.
HHW collection: update on expected delay
We anticipate that the streets that have not yet been serviced will be in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, it is difficult to give a precise estimate.
Aqueduct network: temporary ban is now lifted
The Municipality has carried out tests at the drinking water plants and has been able to solve the problem that was partly causing the water pressure problem.
Drinking water : new regulation and temporary ban on some activities
A complete ban on all activities requiring high water consumption is in effect from now until Friday. This includes watering and filling a pool.
New signage to come at the intersection of Chemin Old Chelsea and Route 105
At the June 1st ordinary meeting, Council voted to install two additional mandatory stop signs at those intersections.

215 children's shoes displayed on the Chelsea Voie Verte
The Municipality of Chelsea will be lowering its flags to half-mast until June 10 in memory of the 215 Indigenous children from the Kamloops residential school.
