Update: Garbage collection postponed
Due to the difficult road conditions experienced during the ice storms of February 23 and 24, garbage collection could not be carried out on several streets in the Municipality. The collection of the streets affected by this break in service will be resumed on Monday, March 7 as of 7:00 a.m.
Excavation material available for filling purposes
This summer, the Public Works Department will be digging ditches at a few locations in the area. Excavation material will be available for backfill purposes. Residents of the Municipality wishing to obtain backfill material can make a request now.
Public Information Session - Rehabilitation of chemin de la Rivière
The Municipality of Chelsea invites you to a public information session on March 3 on the Zoom platform to inform you of the rehabilitation work on chemin de la Rivière that will take place in the summer of 2022.
Postponement of residual materials collection for private roads
Please note that due to the difficult road conditions, the contractor in charge of the collection of residual materials has postponed by one day the collection of garbage and compost that was scheduled today and tomorrow on private roads.
Reopening of Town Hall on February 28
The offices of the Town Hall will reopen to the population on Monday, February 28, and this, according to the hygiene and physical distancing measures in effect.
Call for applications to sit on the Municipality's committees
The Municipality of Chelsea is presently looking for citizens interested in volunteering on its different committees. The commitment on these committees is for a period of two years with the possibility of extension.
